General Range Rules

Shooting forward of the firing line is strictly prohibited.

Do not reach in front of the firing line.

Only one loaded firearm is permitted in the shooting stall at a single time.

No handling of a firearm is allowed behind the firing stall.

When "clearing" a firearm or rendering it safe, these steps must be followed:

magazine removed

slide worked several times to clear any unspent rounds

close the slide and while pointed down range, trigger pulled.

A chamber flag may also be inserted if desired

Leaving a firearm in the shooting stall is permitted, but it must be cleared prior to stepping away.

Firearms brought onto the property must be unloaded and in a secure case, a range bag or holster prior to entering the facility and must remain there until the member is in the firing stall.

It is the shooter's responsibility to understand how to operate the firearm safely and ensure that it is in proper working order as well as understanding all safety features prior to shooting.

If an unexpected incident were to occur within the shooting stall or lobby, an immediate "CEASE FIRE" command will be called by all persons in attendance. Shooters will immediately stop shooting, render the firearm safe and tend to the issue at hand.

All shooting must be performed in a safe and controlled manner. "Dual wielding" or "two-gun shooting" is not permitted. No uncontrolled rapid fire is permitted. Damage to the ceiling and the lights will result in a $300 fee and potential cancellation of range membership.

Purposely shooting at anything other than your target will result in the actual charge to fix the range equipment and possible cancellation of your club membership.

Tampering with the cameras installed in the Conex or lobby may be cause for immediate dismissal and will carry a fee for any damage incurred.

Prone (laying down) shooting is not permitted.

Only authorized targets may be used.

HAND OR PRIVATELY LOADED AMMUNITION, TRACERS, EXPLOSIVE OR ARMOR-PIERCING AMMUNITION IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
